For years, I chased the goal of work-life balance, only to realize it was making me more stressed. It wasn't until I discovered that they can't be balanced but INTEGRATED.; and this changed a lot of things. > Balance suggests a 50/50 split, which is often unrealistic. We all hear about being the "best version" of ourselves. It's a concept I've been obsessed with too. But what does it actually mean? Is my best version when I: •Wake up early •Work out every day •Focus relentlessly on my career •Remain productive every moment If I do all these things, does that mean I’ve achieved my best self? It sounds ideal, but also incredibly tough and complicated. Reality check: I can’t wake up that early every day! We set these high goals, and often, it feels like work-life balance is a distant dream. We push ourselves so hard that our bodies protest—we get exhausted, our skin breaks out, we lose weight in unhealthy ways. So, how do we become our best version? Now, let’s simplify it. Sure, the “best version” list is aspirational. But here’s the real deal: If you can look in the mirror and say, “Yes, I have acne and dark circles right now, but they’ll pass,” and still feel satisfied and happy with how each day ends, looking forward to the next—THAT is your best version. Your best version is the happy you. I’m at my best VERSION! I’m content with where I am now and excited about what I’m working on.
