It has been a really interesting week and there has been a clear focus on mental health awareness. All our clients have the same thing in common. They want to help the wellbeing of their employees and support them. Many organisations will have numerous wellbeing provisions and benefits in place, which is great. One key challenge for the majority of us is often talking about our mental health and general wellbeing. Accessing that provision then becomes an impossible task as we can find it difficult to ask for help and acknowledge it. I have had lots of conversations this week about how you can help upskill and train managers, Champions and SLT in 'how to have a wellbeing conversation'. In theory an easy thing to do, but as we know, there is a skill in knowing what sort of questions to ask, and the right language to use. Sometimes someone just needs listening to and pointing in the right direction. #GDAW #gooddayatwork #wellbeingatwork #mentalhealthawarenessweek
