Former C-suite, Global Banker empowering clients on Leadership & Business as a ✅ CEO/CFO Coach & Advisor 💹 Angel Investor 👩❤️👨 Mother of Twins
I loved being an Institutional Relationship Banker. For the clients in my portfolio (usually about 20-25 companies), I handled everything from the 'mundane to the magnificent'. Mundane - arranging client meeting schedules when C-suite bosses from overseas were in town. Magnificent - originating deals that involved many parts of the bank and working for months (sometimes years) from conception to execution. The objective was putting the client's needs first. Not to push product. Not to be purely transactional. What do you like about (either) your current role or a previous? Let's learn together.

I’m officially 90+ days into my new role at Global Lending. Although the core job functions are similar to the roles I’ve held in the past, I was nervous to learn the ins and outs of the auto finance world. August 2023, I was assigned a market that’s been historically a bottom feeder in terms of engagement and output—and also one of the largest markets in terms of total accounts. When I took over, I decided to pull data from the prior 3-month’s performance so I could set goals, compare, and track growth. Without getting into too much detail, here’s the growth I saw for my three main focused metrics: +26.3% in booked deals +6.5% in market participation +0.5% in application conversion rate While it’s been challenging, it’s been fun. And I’m continuing to learn from experience. Truth be told, I haven’t enjoyed going to work like I have at Global in quite some time. I’m thankful for a company that allows me to be myself with leaders who provide autonomy to go out and get results. Thankful for the ones who took a chance in hiring me and look forward to many more years to come. Let’s keep it moving.

CVO - KP9 Interactive - Focused on the democratization of Augmented Reality. Insider to tech - outsider to industry.
I've walked outside MANY times in earlier years with both pass-through and optically clear glasses. The design of content has to be minimal at best for safety. If content occludes reality - it's a blind spot. Period. Even with IR/Lidar/etc - by the time the system might recognize something - a human can't. It does not have the capacity of a self-driving vehicle or autonomous drone. These devices are not designed for any of this. Peripheral vision challenges. Latency if something buffers. Interrupted Power = black screen. Look - I am always the one to say innovate and disrupt - but many things require crawling. This is not a "bubble wrap" statement. This is dangerous shit to do. I know it may be the "cool" thing or maybe even the marketing seems like it is a thing you can wear doing everyday things... please be responsible for yourself and the ones around you.

Dear all, It's been a while now. I am late to inform everyone. Some of you have been calling in to check in on me, so thought of writing this update from me. I wanted to start something on my own, so I decided to make, end of March as my last working in Credit Suisse (CS). CS has been a great company in terms of my professional growth and offered me a privilege to be around great minds in Procurement, Source to Pay, IT and also around great vendor's team (Ivalua) Credit Suisse gave us a new challenge almost everyday, new learning and always sense of achievement - Thanks for my line management. I didn't realize it was half of my professional life, well spent, at CS because of people like them. (Raja Prakash Ramasamy, Tim Bartel, Inye D., John Birch, Lekshmi Jayaprakash) So, fast forward, we are now a small bunch of 'day dreamers', dreaming about lot of crazy ideas on what should I be busy with. (Well, we still don't believe to 'funnel' some of those out yet). It's already a feeling that I am more busier than ever, 'thinking' than 'doing' something. but, its joyous, so far. A snippet of what's keeping me busy - 1) I am a consulting partner for a Business & for a Brand - Consulting 2 clients currently 2) I am also a strategic partner for Hospitality, F&B industry to increase their revenues and reducing CAC, OpEx. - Working with a reputed restaurants and a reputed mall. That's all for now. Will share more "structured' update, once I put up a structure in the company 😀 The business websites etc. are in the making, and will take sometime to come up

Changing Career: Lessons from My Experience https://lnkd.in/gVBaVb2K There are so many reasons why people change jobs today, while the majority go after higher pay, leaving toxic environments and opportunities to try out new things are also other common reasons I have seen. What then happens when you get combinations of many reasons? e.g. Better pay and opportunity to try out new things or any other combination out there? Let me share my personal experience. I started my career as a Retail Credit Analyst. I have knowledge of the financial services industry, especially Loan services. Because of my passion and interest in data, I took up an opportunity that came with higher pay + and the desired career. That's amazing, right? I had a very accelerated growth in this new role because it was a mix of passion + reward for growth. In 3 years and a few months, I moved to a Unit head with lots of accolades. From zero Certifications to 15+ Certifications. My life changed. To complete this story, kindly check out this video where I have everything documented https://lnkd.in/gVBaVb2K
