For the data nerds out there, and those who have benefited from publicly available datasets in the past, this project by Jeremy Singer-Vine is a way to give back. Think of it as your tithe in support of those fickle data gods. I just signed up myself. As he puts it, it is an "initiative to identify, obtain, reformat, clean, document, publish, and disseminate government datasets of public interest." While you're at it, check out and maybe subscribe to his weekly newsletter Data Is Plural, which highlights "useful/curious datasets." There is a ton of good stuff there that could be used for theses, dissertations, research, visualizations, and more. https://lnkd.in/grza6_Sf https://lnkd.in/gA48k2Kj
