About project The Pizhemskoye field is the world's biggest deposit of titanium and quartz material. The plan is that at the first stage to 2026, the companies will organize a mining enterprise at the Pyzhemskoye field in the Ust-Tsilemsky District, as well as a mining and processing plant and a glass factory to enrich silica sands near Sosnogorsk. In July, 2022, the Komi Region's Governor Vladimir Uiba said the RUSTITAN Group of Companies and the AEON Corporation jointly with the Komi Region and the Nenets Autonomous Region had started the implementation of a mega project to develop the world’s biggest Pizhemskoye deposit of titanium ores and silica sands, to build a railroad between Sosnogorsk and Indiga and to build the Indiga deep-water sea port. The project will involve about a half of Komi's municipalities. As a result, in the Komi Region will appear a multidisciplinary production facility to make high-quality concentrates of porous rutile, zircon, iron oxide, needle-shaped wollastonite, calcined quartz sands, glass sands, titanium dioxide, as well as titanium powders. Many products are unique to Russia and are being imported. They are used in the aerospace, shipbuilding, automotive, oil and gas, paint and chemical industries. The Pizhemskoye field's development and the Indiga port's construction with the Sosnogorsk-Indiga railway line have been parts of development strategies in the Komi and Nenets Autonomous Regions, of the Russian Federation's Strategy for Development of the Arctic Zone. Highlights from the Phase 2 exploration results of all the collected outcrop, subcrop (from a pitting program) and soil samples include: 🔸 Phosphorous up to 48,405 ppm (4.84% P) in outcrop and 12,598 ppm (1.26% P) in soil; 🔸 Strontium up to 8,076 ppm in outcrop and 1,204 ppm in sieved soil samples; 🔸 Iron up to 632,512 ppm (63.25% Fe) in outcrop and 288,960 ppm (28.90% Fe) in soil; 🔸 Barium up to 248,970 ppm (24.90% Ba) in outcrop and 36,390 ppm (3.39% Ba) in soil; 🔸 Niobium up to 427 ppm in outcrop and 963 ppm in soil. Chairman, Mr Andrew. Vanderzwan said, “Our Heavy Mineral Sands projects are funded and heading into mine development. MRG received the first payment from SLC for June and July being AUD$120,000 last week and will continue to focus the majority of resources on the exciting development towards HMS concentrate production. In the meantime, Shawa is MRG’s most advanced exploration project in the portfolio. The attractiveness of Shawa is multi-facetted. A package of 10 contiguous Mining Licences has already been granted due to the existing Vermiculite resource, which will undergo further economic analysis. The results from our initial surface work described in this announcement support the potential of a significant Phosphate and Rare Earths discovery being made at Shawa, a significant opportunity to substantially increase the value of our portfolio.” Read the full ASX announcement: https://lnkd.in/da3cpFJs #MRQ #phosphate #strontium #iron #exploration

Xanadu Mines Ltd is evaluating several processing upside options to drive Project value at Kharmagtai #copper #gold in #Mongolia. Key upsides being assessed in Base Case, include: • Elevated feed grade profile for initial 6+ years • Higher throughput, both initially & expansion post capex payback. Expansion is planned to commence in years 8-9 allowing for several years of strong cash generation post payback of initial capex. • Enhanced concentrate grade via alternative cleaner flotation equipment • Additional gold recovery via small Carbon In Leach or GlyCatTM leach circuit, for treating cleaner Flotation tailings, and oxides characterised by higher-grade gold & lower-grade copper • Geo-metallurgical testwork generating domain level recovery-grade relationships to optimise mine to mill plan Discover more: https://loom.ly/t2SPDpM #XanaduMines #XAM #ASX #TSX #mining
