⚒ 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 ✅ #MARU is pleased to announce that the first #manganese exports sales under the Company's Mine Support Services Agreement with Kenyan company GIM, have been completed from the Larisoro Manganese Mine. ✅ Exports sales of an initial 476 T of manganese at an average grade of 37% manganese (Mn) from the stockpiled #manganese ore in Nairobi was completed under the management of GIM and with Scan Global Logistics Group's Kenya-based subsidiary, Scan Global Logistics Kenya Limited. ✅ The containers of the high-grade #manganese ore were loaded in Nairobi, transported to the Port of #Mombasa & loaded on the vessel M.V. Kota Kaya, which departed from the Port on 16 September 2024 to be delivered to customers in #China under existing offtake agreements. ✅ Under the terms of the MMSA, Marula is now due to receive 60% of the net proceeds from the sale of this initial manganese ore export. ✅ Sales of manganese ore from Larisoro will continue on a monthly basis and are expected to increase in Q4 2024 as the Company accelerates its planned US$1.5 million investment in new mining, crushing, screening and processing plant equipment. 💥𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞 1⃣ #MARU appointed Kenyan geophysics consultancy group, Remmy Africa Geoscience Ltd, who has over 14 years of experience in geological & geophysical exploration in the region, to carry out the Programme 2⃣ Mobilisation to the Larisoro mine site is underway, and the work will be completed by end of September 2024 with the results of the Geophysics Programme expected to be available in Q4 2024 3⃣ Work is part of the Company's planned approximately US$1.75 million exploration programme to be undertaken across the two mining permits that make up the Larisoro mine site 4⃣ The Company's mapping and sampling work has confirmed historical regional mapping work that indicates that the manganese mineralisation is found in the faulted contact zone between quartz-feldspar granulites and leucocratic biotite gneiss and extends for over 5km regionally 5⃣ The survey work to be completed as part of the Geophysics Programme across the mining permits at Larisoro will consist of 1km line surveys at a line spacing of 40 metres, for a cumulative total of 50-line km 6⃣ Findings from the Geophysics Programme will be used by the Company's geological team in finalising the planning of the Company's maiden resource drilling programme that is to be undertaken and completed at Larisoro in Q4 2024 𝐑𝐍𝐒 📃➡️ https://lnkd.in/dA-5peib #MARU #Kenya #Manganese #AfricaMining
