Founder, Managing Director, and Resource Efficiency Practitioner at Linchpin Environmental Sustainability Solutions (Pty) Ltd: Environmental Sustainability Consulting/ Resource Efficiency/Sustainable Business Practices
Yesterday I had the great opportunity to present at the Future Females Circular Economy Showcase. It was such a privilege to not only showcase the impact that we make in the environmental sustainability space, but to also encourage and inspire the audience to adopt circular lifestyes. We can't always be preaching only to organisations to drive change and make an impact. After all everything starts with a person, as the famous saying that charity begins at home. So this is a call to action to everyone. I encourage you to start your journey to adopting a circular lifestyle. #circulareconomy #environmentalsustainability #energyefficiency #sustainablebusinesspractices

The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Company Culture and Customer Perception 🌍Today, I wanted to take a moment to discuss a topic near and dear to my heart - the impact of corporate social responsibility on company culture and customer perception. 🏢 🙌 Supporting charities is not only a way to give back but also an opportunity to create a positive impact on society. I'm curious to know what charities your business actively supports. 🌱 Sustainability is another key aspect in shaping a company's culture. By implementing sustainable practices, businesses can reduce their environmental footprint and inspire others to do the same. So, what steps is your organization taking to be more sustainable? Let's inspire each other! 💪🌿 🌟 How you answer these questions can greatly influence how customers perceive your company culture. Businesses supporting charities demonstrate their commitment to making a difference in the world; customers appreciate that. It shows that your company is not solely focused on profit but also on creating a positive impact. 🤝✨ 🌍 Similarly, when customers see businesses actively taking steps towards sustainability, it fosters a sense of trust and loyalty. It shows that your organization cares about the planet and actively works towards a better future for all. 🌎🌱 Customers First supports two ocean conservation charities: Oceana & Ocean Conservancy and Boreal Songbird Initiative. How deeply ingrained is sustainability in your business? We all talk a lot about this key issue today, but do we act as much as we claim to? Being truly sustainable today includes having ethical and sustainable practices through every aspect of your business, with goals clearly and transparently shared with consumers and partners alike. It also means looking bigger and beyond our own business to help the wider world At 2.0 & Partners, we are proud to have a long-standing partnership with Ecologi | B Corp™ to ensure our in-house efforts are as green as possible - a mission we continue to push forward with - and we have worked alongside charitable organisations such as The Ocean Cleanup to support their large-scale work around the globe. But there is always more the do, because when it comes to sustainability, the time for talk is over. #sustainbility #travel #green

Starting off the week with a disturbing article Earth.Org highlighting the biggest environment problems that we currently face. While we tend to focus on asking what companies are doing to reduce their carbon footprint (which is important), we also need to ask ourselves the same question. Issues such as Food Waste, Fast Fashion and Plastic Pollution are 3 that we can directly influence by making conscious decisions and changing our behavior, while purchasing products and/or services including while traveling. 🟢PACKAGING SPOTLIGHT🟢 Typo’s happen every day and can be easily fixed, but a packaging typo is not so easily fixed and can result in a loss of money and tons of waste. One beauty brand who embraced their slight error was Pacifica Beauty, who created a campaign highlighting the detrimental effect of household waste, which increases by more than 25% around the holiday season. The brand’s "One Typo = One Tree" campaign was created in partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit environmental charity focused on global reforestation. For every mislabeled holiday skincare set sold, Pacifica will plant one tree as part of its partnership with One Tree Planted. Turning a negative into a positive that also benefits the planet... we like it!
