Human Resource Student & MQU Business Society HR Director

Hi Aidan! This serves as an outstanding demonstration of diverse expertise coming together to offer consultation to the BSc Team regarding their chosen UN SDG. The varied skill sets within your team form a solid foundation for conducting thorough analyses and providing insightful recommendations. I can see that your team has consulted the BSc ways they can engage with potential stakeholders but it would be interesting to see the implications as well. To enhance the depth of your insights, I suggest delving deeper into the socio-economic implications and stakeholder engagement strategies within the communities impacted by stormwater runoff. A small note I have is that I would love to hear how your team encourages ongoing learning and flexibility within your group as it is vital for adapting to evolving project demands. Overall, your dedication to excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration is commendable. By incorporating these recommendations, I am confident that you can further enhance the impact of your consultation on the "Clean Stormwater Sydney" project.

Performance Assistant for Atomic 212°

As part of my Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Marketing Management and Human Resources at Macquarie University, I am currently enrolled in the MQBS3010 'Agility and Excellence in Business' capstone unit. Within this assessment, my group and I are tasked with providing business consultation and recommendations for a project led by our peers in the Bachelor of Science program. Their project, "Clean Stormwater Sydney" aims to implement Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) principles in urban development, particularly in Greater Western Sydney, to mitigate stormwater runoff, reduce flooding, and minimise water pollution through collaborative efforts with local councils, communities, and volunteers. Combining our diverse expertise as a group in marketing, accounting, management, finance, HR, and business analytics, our group thoroughly evaluated the project and offered unique recommendations to enhance its effectiveness. As a group we created an infographic to summarise our consultation to the MQ Bachelor of Science students. We highlighted communication channels, potential target markets, the hiring process, possible manufacturers, required budgets and conducted a SWOT analysis to assist WSUD. I found this task highly rewarding as it demanded open-mindedness and effective communication, providing invaluable insight into real-world workplace dynamics. #MqBcomCapstone #UNSDG #Sustainability
