DOE Thanks. Solar panels are a remedy, not a solution to the energy problem. Data solar panels are only 35% efficient and only last 10 or 15 years with updated versions cannot solve today's problems with old and inefficient remedy technology. "The next challenging bubble will be between 2027 and 2030. We think we're going to have million tonnes of [Toxic Trash] and by 2040 could end up with more than 200 million tonnes globally, and also not including accessories batteries system that have a maximum useful life of 5-8 years etc.... and in conclusion without a doubt is a good cost-effective business for recycle industries. A belated thanks to Decarb Connect for the chance to talk about the impact of industrial decarbonization on the #grid. Great to have a constructive back and forth with Laura Devoni, Matt McCulloch and Francis Bradley to consider the challenges and opportunities for #electrification of heavy industry. It is clear from the industry perspective that leaders are currently required to navigate complex systems with multiple players not designed for the challenges of the energy transition. Minister Todd Smith set the stage with a sense of all that Ontario is already doing to meet this challenge, but it's clear that industry, government, utilities and regulators are going to need to come to the table for an ongoing dialogue to continue to meet it head on. Clean Energy Canada looks forward to participate in ongoing discussions on how comprehensive energy planning can help make electrification a reliable, affordable and simple decarbonization pathway.
