What to expect during a massage therapist visit If you’re new to massage, it’s good to have some idea of what’s commonly done during a session: You’ll likely need to answer questions about your goals for your massage. For example, are you looking for relief in a specific area or solely to relax? Your massage therapist will also want to know about any medical conditions you might have. You may need to undress or wear loose-fitting clothing. Undress only to the point that you’re comfortable. You generally lie on a table and cover yourself with a sheet. Continued.... Clean the Outer Ear: Use a damp cloth to clean the outer part of your ear. Avoid going too deep into the ear canal. Wax Management: Earwax (cerumen) is normal and protects your ears. If you have excessive wax build-up, consult a healthcare professional for safe removal. Protect Your Ears: Use earplugs or earmuffs in noisy environments (such as concerts or construction sites) to prevent hearing damage. Avoid Loud Music: Listening to music at high volumes through headphones can harm your hearing. Follow the 60/60 rule: Limit volume to 60% and listen for a maximum of 60 minutes at a time. Remember, maintaining good ear hygiene is essential for overall ear health. If you have specific concerns, consult an audiologist or an ear specialist. . . . #audiologist #hearing #hearingaids #bestaudiologistinpune #pune

MEGKAI DOLL HOUSE| A PROFESSIONAL MASSEUSE | RECRUITING AND PROVIDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO SPAS. EXPERT IN SOURCING AND MATCHING SKILLED SPA THERAPISTS WITH SUITABLE SPAS.
Being the all-in-one therapist at a spa is totally understandable Buh focusing on one area of expertise can lead to mastery and fulfillment in that specific skill set . I for one love to focus on one particular service and excel in it. That way, I can really hone my skills and provide top-notch care in that specific area. It’s not about dissing the hustle culture, but being a jack of all trades still holds weight, for real and we all know the drawbacks of not focusing on the majority of services in the spa industry and the reasoning behind them. So what If you prefer doing massages over waxing, or if you’re more into pedi-mani than facials, that’s completely valid. If it brings you joy, focus solely on pedicures and manicures, pouring your heart into it. Research the value you want to bring to your business, add pepper and salt ,specialize, and nurture your passion. Sell your services with enthusiasm, market your business effectively, and witness its growth and success. #therapistrecruiter #despatherapists #spaindustry

Starting off the new year strong with some incredible additions to our community of expert Therapists. Swipe across to meet the fresh faces joining the MASAJ team. You can also find out more about this amazing bunch here: https://www.masaj.me/team As you can imagine we take who we bring into the MASAJ fold really seriously. We are BIG believers in championing the individual and celebrating uniqueness in massage style - and we work really hard to be a place that each Therapist can thrive in. That is a lot easier said that done, and there is always more work we can do, but we are in an industry where a lot of our competitors are running their businesses in archaic ways. Where talented Therapists are also juggling the role of Receptionists and looking after the administrational side of running a studio. Burning out quickly with long shifts and so much else to do. It might seem a small thing to be able to give a Therapist the space to really lean into the bodywork and let another team handle the rest of the guest experience, but I can tell you that in reality that is no small task to operate - it makes a huge difference in allowing the talented to thrive. I plan to talk more on here about the industry we are lucky to be trading in, and Alice Vaughan and I are looking for ways to stand out and amplify our voice. We have a lot to say. We've actually banned some language in-house here at MASAJ - we use the word 'studio' not 'parlour', for example, and we call our team members 'Partners', 'Therapists' or 'Bodyworkers', not 'Masseuses'. Have you got any particular words, phrases or language that you steer away from internally? Comment below if you can share any from your world.
