Here's one of many reasons: Commercial airlines are limited to major airports, often located far from your final destination. Private aviation, on the other hand, allows you to access a vast network of regional and private airports, bringing you closer to where you need to be. This can significantly reduce travel time and the need for ground transportation, making your journey more efficient and enjoyable. Top 10 Transatlantic: The Most Popular Aircraft Flying From The US To Europe Nearly 40 scheduled passenger airlines have US-Europe flights in September. Operators include the tiny Faroe Islands' Atlantic Airways, which briefly returns to Stewart in September. Analyzing all carriers' plans using Cirium data shows they have an estimated 16,947 departures (double for both ways), about 565 daily. Examining aircraft use is enlightening, with 24 aircraft types and variants deployed this month. Top 10 US-Europe aircraft: September The table below shows them. The Airbus A330-300—the higher-capacity but lower-range A330ceo variant—is the most used. However, there's virtually no difference between it and its Boeing alternative, the 777-200ER. The aging pair operates nearly one in four of the flights. The A330-900 is in seventh place despite that model's first US-Europe flights being in 2019. Delta Air Lines is the primary operator. Only one narrowbody type, the A321neo, is featured, with an average of 29 daily flights. No quadjet made the cut. The first was the A380, which was in 15th place, with British Airways, Emirates, and Lufthansa using it...
