🌟 Exciting Insights from the eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey! 🌟 📈 The survey reveals a GROWING trend towards adoption and integration of LLMs and GenAI. With 43.21% actively deploying LLMs and GenAI, and 28.40% in the testing phase, digital transformation is happening. Only 4.94% have no plans. 🐌 Compare this to the Fall 2023 survey where only 29.69% were integrating and deploying these technologies, 23.44% were testing and piloting, 25.00% were considering and evaluating and 9% had no plans. 🚀 I, for one, am encouraged by these survey results. Stoked to see the 4th installment of our work featured in eDiscovery Today! My favorite takeaway from this installment: "Gone are the days of redwelds, manila file folders, and singular files. At times, everything seems to be connected to everything. As our creation of data is ballooning, so are the use of various technology devices and the ways we communicate. To the extent this communication is relevant in the FOIA or eDiscovery context, we must identify, face, and overcome these challenges." Everything is connected and it's our responsibility to ensure that we're producing those records to requestors and litigants!

I always hear that eDiscovery needs are lower now that we have AI solutions and vastly better technology. But interestingly its the opposite. The "exponential growth of digital data" is actually outpacing other factors. When I started around 2010, a massive review from a Fortune 100 company was like 100k documents (and we had eyes on every, single, document ugh). Now I'm helping small to mid size firms with hundreds of thousands of documents just in simple matters. It just feels like an interesting race between two technologies - AI and data culling vs. increased digital footprints.

Complex Discovery has released their 5 year outlook and forecast for the eDiscovery/EDRM marketplace, and growing from 15B up to $22.6B, demands and pressure to optimize with innovation like AI will be essential. Interesting that Collection is 15% by segment, or $2.25B. Hanzo is leading with AI innovation to reduce the 65% of costs downstream in Review, by "shifting left" on the workflow. https://lnkd.in/gCJfM7zm
