Dr. Zuhair Alharthi, Secretary General of the International Dialogue Centre - KAICIID, held a meeting with Mr. Carlos Carreiras, Mayor of Cascais, Portugal, at the City Hall. The parties discussed the importance of future cooperation through initiatives and events to be hosted by the city of Cascais, particularly in supporting and empowering youth to promote dialogue and build peace. The meeting also touched on enhancing opportunities for collaboration within the framework of the European Policy Dialogue Forum (EPDF) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAoC) Global Forum, which will be held in Cascais in November 2024, where KAICIID will participate as an international platform for promoting interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
