Vital Arts exists to address the multifaceted challenges that artists face today, but we cannot do it alone. We need your support to continue this critical work. Your donation, whether $5, $50, or $500, helps more artists pay their rent without sacrificing meals. It supports city-wide policies that value artists, provides resources for arts professionals, and fosters mind-changing conversations with stakeholders. Bit by bit, we are building a thriving arts ecosystem. Bit by bit, we are improving conditions for every artist, arts worker, and resident with a system of care and a big-picture approach. Bit by bit, we are creating a world that truly values the arts as vital. https://lnkd.in/gpyYdcjk

How do we ensure that art remains a part of everyone's life in 2025? It starts with a simple idea: everyone should be able to experience art, no matter where they live or how much they earn. Art is not a luxury. Art is how we communicate, express our emotions, share our stories, connect with others, and understand different perspectives. Art equity means everyone has a chance to be seen and heard. It's about ensuring that people from all walks of life can create, participate in, and benefit from art. Want to be part of what makes art accessible to nearly 1,000,000 residents of Louisiana? Come to MPAC on January 17! By attending, you're not just enjoying a night out—you're supporting a world where art is accessible to everyone, helping us break down barriers and expand art opportunities across our community. 🚀 Achieving a 100% Success Rate in Grant Applications! 🚀 Due to the nature of my role and place of work, I often write funding applications for museum projects, exhibitions and activities - usually applying to small trusts and foundations. Examples of recent funders are The Margaret Williamson Memorial Fund and The Young People's Trust, as well as bigger funders such as The Royal Society who have funded a project called Our Disappearing Nature! Navigating the competitive world of cultural funding can be daunting, but with a focused strategy and understanding of the sector, success is within reach. Here are three tips that have been key to my success: 1️⃣ Have a clear project plan and do your research 2️⃣ Collaborate with partners on projects 3️⃣ Show how important the project is to the targeted audience and museum If you're involved in museums, heritage, or cultural projects and need help with grant writing or strategy, feel free to connect! Let’s work together to preserve and share our stories. 🏺📜 #Museums #Heritage #GrantWriting #CulturalPreservation #FundingSuccess #HistoryMatters #NonProfit #Charities
