📅 Last week, Kaleidoscope, I connected with some fantastic founders, VCs, marketers, and great people looking to change the world. Events Attended; Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator - Braving the weather, we listened to the charismatic Taylor Greene from Twelve Below, who shared his pitch theory and unconventional route into VC. There were also six inspiring entrepreneurs pitching for feedback. This was my first time at an ERA event, and it was very much worth braving the storm. Thank you to Murat Aktihanoglu and the team. Zero Founded to Funded - Hosted by the wonderful Julie Semple, Born Global Community, Impact Hub Network, and Singapore Global Network. It was an eclectic night of information and networking with Orane Carby, Maya Ber Lerner, and Kurt Schrader, their wisdom on all things investments and getting funded, and not forgetting Edwina Yeo, our fantastic moderator. Three things we learned Raising money always takes much longer than you think - often double or triple the time. Every investor is looking for something different, so be agile to craft your message to what they are looking for Keep on going. It’s going to be complicated. People will leave, and things will go upside down.
