It’s Periodic Table Day! The mineral beryl has the chemical formula Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈. Impurities in this matrix give beryl its various colors. We have initiated coverage on First Phosphate (CSE:PHOS | FSE: KD0 | OTCQB: FRSPF) which is developing not only the Begin-Lamarche #phosphate mine project but also actively evolving the value-added chain in the Battery Valley evolving around Saguenay along the #Saint-Lawrence River. In this note we look at the evolution of the #Lithium Iron Phosphate battery formulation (#LFP) and its rise to prominence in China and in larger battery formats (buses, lorries etc). We also highlight the many and varied partnerships, across the value chain, that PHOS has negotiated. At Technology Metals Europe and Energy Transition Minerals we use #LIBS # technology as a tool for exploration, to determine the presence of #lithium # in the VILLASRUBIAS, ALDEADAVILA, HINOJOSA and EL PAYO licenses. The portable LIBS analysis is an excellent resource for quantitative and qualitative sample measurements. LIBS has been used for more than 30 years as a laboratory technique, capable of analyzing any element in the periodic table. Did you know? Where there’s gold, there’s often Equisetum arvense L.! Scientific studies have shown a strong correlation between the distribution of Equisetum arvense L. and gold deposits. The higher the density of gold in the soil and rocks, the more abundant this plant becomes. However, its density significantly decreases around gold mines. In areas with gold deposits containing sulfides, Equisetum arvense L. is sparse or even nonexistent. While it can absorb gold particles, its growth becomes stunted and weak when exposed to sulfides.
