Alumni showcase! 🔅 Let's talk to the next team that has graduated from ReaktorX: Startup: GuidefAI (now DIMA) 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟑 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬: platform for AI Agents. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭: Through our platform, businesses can automate various tasks and processes from multiple departments, by deploying a collection of AI agents (digital employees) to help their business grow faster. 𝗪𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭: The passion and desire to change the world for the better. Despite all the buzz and hype around AI, it will bring so much impact to businesses and society that it's too exciting to not take part. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐌𝐑𝐑/𝐀𝐑𝐑/𝐋𝐎𝐈’𝐬: We have 3 big clients which we help on automating internal processes with AI and more to be signed soon. 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐗, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞? Bold and way too optimistic. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐧𝐨𝐰? Bold, still optimistic but more prepared on how to handle it more maturely and reliably. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐗 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩? The program helped a lot along the way from advice (even harsh advice) to commitment ,contacts, deep understanding and learning all the steps required to build and manage the "next big thing". People from ReaktorX and SMOK rock in so many ways even after the program ended. 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐗? No, we self-manage at this point but we plan to raise another one in late 2024. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐗 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬: If you believe in what you're building and need the proper knowledge and guidance on how to take on the world, just sign up. What are you waiting for? They approach things differently but with so much knowledge and expertise behind them that makes this program so much valuable. Don't listen to those who tell you how to do it but they didn't do anything and start learning from those who've been through this up's and downs. 👉 If you have questions or want a more detailed look into how ReaktorX went last time, you can ask Paul Muntean and Andrea Magyar.

Why startups fail & what we can learn from it💡 We read all studies on this topic. Here is what you need to know👇 Wrapping up our series on why companies succeed, we looked at the flip side: Startup Failure. Not from anecdotal view, but from the data. One study that analyzed 214 post-mortems finds that: #1 35% of failed startups underestimated how difficult it is to identify the right customers, understand their problems, incorporate their feedback, and adapt quickly. #2 28% of startups' reliance on untested assumptions (which can be hard to untangle from your thinking) and not iterating quickly enough on feedback and data played a substantial role in 28% of failures. #3 21% of startups failed (at least partially) due to financial missteps, including underestimating the initial capital needed, premature scaling, and mismanaging cash flows. 💥What can we learn from it? Finding the right time to pivot is key in early stages. Studies show that external triggers have a much stronger “pivot-inducing” effect than internal challenges. Once again, quick reaction to new data and feedback marks the best examples of successful pivots. Building MVPs and iterating quickly, especially in the early stages, is your best continuous test for picking up on a pivot signal. Later in the maturity cycle, more structured processing of feedback is necessary. Read the full story in today's episode of Data-driven VC https://lnkd.in/eb8KZgNC
