KK&P was recently retained by the King County, WA-based Carnation Farms (www.carnationfarms.org) to support the successful recruiting of a new Director of Regenerative Agriculture. Carnation Farms is a community-based hub for regenerative food and agriculture that educates and empowers the work of culinary, food, and farming professionals. A historically significant agricultural asset of the Snoqualmie Valley, the Farm has embarked on an evolution of its 100-plus year history, a transformation based on regenerative agriculture practices and a focus on healthy, sustainable food systems throughout all its farming, culinary, and educational activities. An experienced Director of Regenerative Agriculture will lead the development and implementation of the farm’s regenerative agriculture strategies, in partnership with the Board and Executive Director. This leader will help shape a vision for the Farm’s leadership role in food and farming systems in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to hands-on regenerative agriculture farming experience, we are seeking someone who is also a businessperson, and team manager and leader.
