We are pleased to announce that we have received a series of #Copper-#Gold laboratory #assays from two of the Mpanda Prospect anomalies (Stalike and Mpanda Ndogo). These initial results have confirmed the copper soil and auger anomalies as defined by hand held pXRF, and further assaying for gold has indicated significant gold anomalies and mineralisation. Resource Mining Corporation’s Executive Chairman, Asimwe Kabunga, said: “These initial results from the Mpanda Copper-Gold Project grading up to 13.6% copper and 3.2gpt gold are extremely exciting and opening a valuable new opportunity for RMC within the Tanzanian project portfolio. We are pleased to have signed an exclusive Option Agreement with Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) to acquire the Ashburton Gold Project, strategically located 290km south of De Grey Mining Ltd’s Hemi Gold Project and 35km from Paraburdoo. Ashburton consists of a highly prospective exploration package containing a 1.44 million ounce #gold resource, one of the largest unmined gold resources in the #Pilbara. Preliminary Due Diligence conducted by #DEG has highlighted the potential to economically deliver concentrate from Ashburton to the proposed Hemi POx plant, enhancing Hemi’s currently attractive project economics.   #DEG’s Managing Director, Glenn Jardine said:   “The proposed 10Mtpa gold plant at Hemi, including a 0.8Mtpa POx circuit, will be a Regionally strategic asset that provides the Company with the potential to treat gold ore and concentrates from other Regional gold Projects. THE UPCOMING EDITION The Cabinet finally put a figure to how much raw critical minerals companies can ship out of Namibia, almost a year after endorsing mines minister Tom Alweendo's proposal to ban huge shipments. We know the Erongo Region as where uranium is mined, but of late, Kunene (Opuwo) has slowly been targeted, with Snow Lake Energy and GIBB River Diamonds Ltd. moving in to stake claims. Andrada Mining now owns 100% interest in the Uis Tin Mining Company after taking over 15% from the Small Miners of Uis. We discuss how the government formed the Small Miners of Uis after the Uis Tin Project was abandoned and how Andrada Mining known then as Afritin came in. The Small Miners of Uis were give license 129 where there is tin and tantalum. We ask if this is a loss or a benefit? The Tsumeb Smelter is one of only a five in the world that can treat arsenic and lead-bearing copper concentrates. Built in 1962 by Newmont Corporation, the smelter has had six owners so far. Dundee Precious Metals Inc. that has been operating the smelter since 2010, sold to Sinomine Resource Exploration Co., Ltd. for US$49m. Now the price could go down by US$29m. There are probably only three countries left in the world with large mineral reserves that can be extracted through surface mining, according to Eldur Olafsson. Fortunately for him, one of them is Greenland. Olafsson is the CEO and founder of Amaroq Minerals Ltd, an Icelandic mining company that’s in prime position to profit from Greenland’s untapped mineral wealth. In 2015, it bought a gold project in the south of the country and plans to carry out a trial mining and processing program there this year. “I believe, if these large investment projects progress, Greenland will become the wealthiest country in the world per capita,” Ólafsson said in an interview with ABJ's Elias Thorsson. Olafsson started researching Greenland’s mineral reserves in 2012—just as other company’s were withdrawing from the market because of falling commodity prices. Amaroq’s surging share price suggests his timing was spot on. Resource Mining Corporation Limited (ASX:RMI) director Trevor Matthews joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio following the discovery of significant #gold and #copper at Mpanda in the Ubendian Orogenic Belt of Tanzania. Matthews provides insight into the ongoing work at Mpanda, highlighting the substantial results from soil and auger samples at the Stalike and Mpanda Ndogo targets. With assays for seven additional anomalous areas pending, expectations are high for further positive outcomes. The discoveries at Mpanda offer a new valuable opportunity within RMI’s Tanzanian project portfolio. Initial grab samples from a shallow pit within the Stalike anomaly revealed high-grade copper values between 4.12% and 13.58%, and gold mineralisation ranging from 1.41 g/t to 3.24 g/t. Our Sagay Copper-Gold Project has moved another step closer! 💪 We have submitted an application for a Declaration of Mining Project Feasibility (DMPF) for our Sagay Project to the Philippine Mines and Geosciences Bureau.
