Mechanical sidewall coring tool (MSCT): The MSCT mechanical sidewall coring tool reliably recovers up to 50 sidewall core samples in a single trip. Optional configurations can recover up to 75 cores or 20 core-catcher samples. Confirmed sample acquisition The real-time display at the logging unit confirms proper tool operation and sample acquisition. The MSCT tool is run in combination with a gamma ray tool to correlate with openhole logs for accurate, real-time depth control of the coring points. Each sample is isolated in the tool for positive identification, and a summary output at surface lists all samples with the exact depth and time that each was taken. Preserved sample integrity Because sidewall cores can be drilled from a wide variety of lithologies—hard, brittle igneous rocks to friable sandstones, cemented carbonates, and ductile shale plays—they avoid the damage associated with percussion coring tools. Finoric's SwellVert Far-Field and Near-Wellbore Diverters combines rigid and swellable particles to significantly improve sealing efficiency and production over traditional diverters while reducing parent-child interactions. Polylactic acid (PLA) and other rigid particle diverter products have limited sealing efficiency if the particle size distribution does not exactly match the geometry of the fractures. SwellVert Diverters minimize dependence on particle size, improving diversion efficiency across a wide range of geometries. The near-wellbore diverters are designed to divert at the sand face inside the perforation tunnels. This helps improve perforation stimulation efficiency during fracturing operations, increase fluid distribution during remedial treatments, and used as lost circulation material during drill-outs. The far-field diverters are designed to be placed during fracturing operations and will flow with and divert the fracturing fluid within the formation. This increases fracture complexity and limits planar fracture growth. Like other polymeric diverters, SwellVert diverters will degrade with time and temperature to a benign, non-damaging fluid. To stop floor subsidence without damaging the underfloor heating system, our URETEK Baltic team uses a method that involves: 1. Turning off the client´s floor heating system for a few days before work begins. 2. Using a thermal camera to locate heating system pipes under the floor once the system is switched on again. 3. Drilling small 14mm diameter holes into the floor based on thermal imaging results. 4. Injecting a geopolymer resin, which expands and hardens rapidly. 5. The Crack Meters created by RST are intended for measuring the displacement of cracks and joints on a surface. They can be easily set up by securing the threaded anchors, equipped with ball joints, or other mounts on both sides of the crack or joint using grouting, bolting, or bonding methods. The anchors are then reattached to the sensor. Crack Meters are frequently employed to track the separation or convergence of cracks in concrete constructions and to monitor joint movement resulting from geological events in the vicinity. Horizontal Hole Openers, also known as HDD Reamers, are used to enlarge the pilot hole in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) - HDD is used when trenching and excavating is not practical. This drilling technology allows for a steerable trenchless way to drill underground.There are three stages, the first stage is to drill a small diameter pilot hole.
