Hosted by the White House Climate Policy Office and the Council on Environmental Quality, the discussion highlighted the significant role that VPPs can play in reducing energy costs, bolstering grid reliability, and supporting sustainability efforts across thousands of government-owned buildings. Engaging with Southern California Edison (SCE)’s Chanel Parson and Funmi Williamson to discuss their work to enhance grid resiliency was a highlight, and we commend all the participating utilities, including Dominion Energy, Exelon, Pepco, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison (SCE), Tennessee Valley Authority, and others for their forward-thinking plans to adopt and value next-generation energy assets as we build a more resilient and sustainable grid.    We are strong proponents of the potential of VPPs, and look forward to accelerating this critical initiative for a cleaner, more reliable energy future.   #VirtualPowerPlants #GridResiliency #EnergyLeadership #FederalBuildings #EnergyTransition
