Happy International women's day! Keep fighting and working hard and smart to break the gap between men and women! A few lessons that I learned from my career that continue helping me navigate a men's world and makes me feel equal: 1. Speak up! Don't be shy asking questions or learning something new! Don't be shy explaining why you think differently!  2. Have women and men mentors so you can learn both sides.  3. Mentor young women. Women In Technology (WIT) or any women  organization is a good way to mentor young ladies.  4. If you are a leader, show your culture, tell your story, inspire and give opportunities to young women - internship, work studies, etc. Point out to your men coworkers that don't have women in their team and offer help on recruiting.  5. Diversity is healthy but still hire the best candidate for the job. Be fair!  6. Support and lean on your women coworkers! 7. Be proud of yourself and your accomplishments! 8. Why do I give so much importance to being independent as a woman? Why Do I Value Women's Independence? My First Teacher↓ My mother taught me the importance of women being independent! Even though she was usually happy, I could tell she felt unfulfilled because she never had a career. She had completed a university degree and dreamed of becoming a lawyer, but she ended up staying home to focus on family duties. When I was young, she often advised me to never give up on my dreams like she did. I didn't fully understand then, but her words stuck with me. As I grew up and started my own career, I realized the confidence and satisfaction she missed out on by not having a job. The pain of sacrificing a dream for family. Financial independence and chasing your goals are key for any woman to feel empowered. My mom's experience is common - many women struggle to balance family and a career. I want to inspire change! I had every reason in the world to give up on my career but I did not and I will not! I have built a thriving business because of facing so many failures I went through in the past. My work accomplishments are not just for me, but also to honor my mom and help create a world where more women can be independent. Even though she abandoned her personal aspirations, she selflessly made me believe that women can have it all - strong relationships, engaging work, and money freedom. I'll always be thankful that the best thing my mother taught me was that women deserve independence in every way. I know there are 'N' number of women who are going through the same situation, I encourage you all to follow your dreams. Find your way! It is now or Never!
