Alright, 🙌 here’s a upcoming challenge for us, especially for my fellow Sri Lankans 🇱🇰and Kenya 🇰🇪 in tea plantations! Get ready for Saharan dust ❗️ Someone: What’s Saharan dust? 🗿 Ans : The Sahara desert is the biggest source of dust in the world, sending about 400-700 million tons of dust into the air each year! 🌪 Someone: How does it affect to Agriculture specially tea crops in Srilanka & Kenya ? 🌱 Ans : Well ! 😑 The dust can add useful nutrients like phosphorus and potassium to our soil, which is great for tea plants. But too much dust can hurt soil structure, block sunlight, and reduce photosynthesis, which could lower our tea yields. It might also change rainfall patterns, affecting irrigation, and alter pest and disease conditions. In 2012, when I published the results of scientific research on dust storms, I officially stated that these very small particles are the biggest threat to the world's environment in the future. But no one paid attention and now look at the first comment below. This news was published in Iran's Kurdistan newspaper. After 10 years, we see that these atmospheric pollutants circulate in the circulatory system of Europeans and Americans and turn their countries into deserts. Meanwhile, the most advanced method of controlling dust storms has been officially registered in the German Patent Office.
