Tesco has just launched an online marketplace, giving their customers the ability to shop thousands of third-party products alongside their groceries. Why this is a game-changer: Tesco noticed that customers were searching for products they didn’t carry. This new marketplace addresses those gaps, offering a wider range of items. For instance, “suitcases” were a top search with no results. Now, customers can find them easily on Tesco.com while earning clubcard points. How it Works~ - Products appear alongside Tesco groceries on Tesco.com and the Tesco app. - Items are fulfilled directly by the suppliers. - Separate payments and delivery fees for third-party items. - Free standard delivery for orders over £50 from the same seller or for Anytime Delivery Saver members. - customers can earn Clubcard points on all purchases! So far 17 vetted sellers at launch, including brands like Tefal, Silentnight, Tommee Tippee, and Charles Bentley. Sellers are monitored for delivery speed, returns, and success rates.
