Values Matter. People— Or in this case, organizations, display their values by what they devote their time and resources to. Which is why I was proud of the way my employer, Baker Hughes, kicked off #BlackHistoryMonth last Friday. They did it with an internal panel conversation featuring #BakerHughes senior leadership and releasing an agenda highlighting an action packed month of events and #communityservice opportunities This is just one element that aligns with the values and actions referenced in the Baker Hughes DEI Report: Baker Hughes.com/dei It is encouraging to work in a place that celebrates both my skills as a professional, and recognizes the importance and impact of my culture. While others may have changed approaches to #DEI it is great to work for a company that—just as it does with the #EnergyTransition—leads the way. Happy Black History Month ✊🏾 #WeAreBakerHughes #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion Nuovo Pignone, Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, Druck, a Baker Hughes business PS: Will have some special programming on Tales of The Tribunal to celebrate the month!

I’m a great believer in setting your mission and vision statement. Whether you have a personal goal or a company goal, it’s important to communicate it. Only then can you take identifiable steps towards it. At Fuzzy we truly identify with our values and we will continue to check in on them to make sure they represent who we are. Do you think setting a mission and values help achieve your goals?
At Fuzzy, we are on a mission! We have also adopted VALUEs that we feel represent who we are & are attributes which will fuel our success. We will regularly check in to our values to make sure they stand firm and hold true.

We honor the trailblazers who have left an indelible mark on our society through their leadership and commitment to improving lives, and as we celebrate Black History Month, i. Bernard J. Tyson, healthcare executive extraordinaire and former CEO of Kaiser Permanente, the first African-American to have this role, was one such visionary leader whose legacy continues to inspire us. Dr. Tyson, who sadly passed away much too soon, was a steadfast advocate for equitable healthcare, believing in the power of action when action has to happen no matter the obstacles. "Don't ask for permission to help improve the lives of the people in the communities you're pledged to serve, but instead march through the doors of red tape, make bold moves and usher in access." - Bernard J. Tyson Tyson's leadership was not just about managing one of the largest healthcare providers in the U.S.; it was about challenging the status quo, breaking down barriers to healthcare access, and ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background, had the opportunity to lead a healthy life. His approach to leadership—marked by boldness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to community service—serves as a beacon for all of us. In remembering Bernard J. Tyson during Black History Month, let's not only reflect on his contributions but also embody his ethos in our actions. Let us be inspired to make bold moves, challenge red tape, and tirelessly work to improve the lives of those in our communities. His legacy is a reminder that leadership is about much more than titles or accolades; it's about making a tangible difference in the lives of others. #Leadership #BlackHistoryMonth #BernardJTyson #Healthcare #Innovation #CommunityService
