Our team says 감사합니다 ("Thank you") to all the inspiring discussions at Quantum Korea 2024. It was another fruitful event for the team to share the world’s first fully digital quantum control solution, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) solutions, etc., with various quantum enthusiasts worldwide. We are not saying goodbye, but we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Quantum is bigger in the west! Spanning Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming, the Elevate Quantum consortium hosts more quantum organizations, jobs, commercial patents, and Nobel Prize winners than anywhere else in the world. We are setting the example for what the future of quantum can look like. #ElevateQuantum #Quantum #QuantumTuesday #ChooseColorado #WorldQuantumDay https://lnkd.in/g5yx-H78

The SATURN project's first paper of 2024 is out!! Read all about it in the post below! #UnderwaterNoise #UnderwaterAcoustics #AcousticNoiseMeasurement #AcousticSignalProcessing
It has been a very busy New Year for us here at SATURN HQ, and we are closing out this January on a high with the exciting announcement of our first peer-reviewed publication of 2024! 'Modelling Sound Particle Motion in Shallow Water' is now available to download from the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America: 🔗 https://t.ly/ssq8J We would like to congratulate our partners at TNO and JASCO Applied Sciences for their hard work in producing this paper! - For a full list of publications and reports from our SATURN project to date, visit our project website: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eRtjuuMD

Passionate about optics and photonic technologies and their transformative power to create and shape a better world.
So what's cool about Infleqtion and the ways our teams are working to solve real world problems using cold atom quantum technology? One key area where we're making an impact is in GPS navigation, lead by the phenomenal group at Infleqtion UK. To learn more, it is worth taking a few minutes to watch this video. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 And put your questions and feedback in the comments. https://lnkd.in/g7K6MS6E

Let’s talk some more about the QKD (full daylight quantum key distribution) that Andy Salerno’s team developed for the Department of Energy at the national laboratory in Oak Ridge Tennessee. 1) It operates at a wavelength of 1550 nm. 2) it uses an integrated silicon photonics chip used as a state encoder. 3) it was field tested in an urban area of Padua, Italy over a 145 meter long free-space link. 4) it yielded impressive results with a QBER around .5% and an averaged secret key rate of 30 kbps during an entire sunny day ( 11:00-20:00) 5) this chip represents a cost-effective solution for portable free-space transmitters and holds promise for designing quantum optical payloads for future satellite missions. The voices in my head sent me this —that’s one hell of a form of late onset schizophrenia I’ve developed 😂

Check out our work on time rondeau crystal, which pushes Discrete Time Crystal (DTC) beyond Floquet (periodic) regime. For future applications, we can see it potentially used for spatiotemporal memory (Fig 5.), pulse-width modulation , and frequency-selective DTC-based magnetic field sensor!
I am thrilled to see our work online: https://lnkd.in/gnWA8QZH : We investigate different kinds of partial temporal orders, realized by non-periodic yet structured drives, which we call rondeau order. Using a C13-nuclear-spin diamond quantum simulator, we report the first experimental observation of a --- tunable degree of --- short-time disorder in a system exhibiting long-time stroboscopic order. Current quantum simulators with amazing controllability can generate rich and tunable temporal orders, far beyond the conventional classification of spatial ordering as in static systems 👏
