As I have been working with the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Team at WESTLAND CONSTRUCTION, INC., I have seen how crucial it is to use BIM in the building process of construction. Recently, I have had the opportunity to do 4D Modeling Simulation, Animation, and Sequencing with some commercial projects. 4D Modeling is very new in the world of construction, and we have learned that in pre-construction there are a lot of problems and changes when starting a new project. With 4D Modeling you can minimize those issues by sequencing the tasks and events on a master schedule. It has been so cool to understand how 4D Modeling and BIM can organize the construction process and make the building process move quicker. Not only that, but it brings different teams together on a project and allows everyone to understand on an easier level how to build quicker, and more efficiently. The article simply states, "the use of 4D planning provides an exceptional tool to solve the problems which often occur during the construction phase." I started my internship at SMKN 2 Depok on July 2023 as a assistant teacher. I had an opportunity to be actively involved in teaching about designing with Building Information Modelling using Revit. In first week, i adjusted with the school culture, behavior, and gained knowledge about understanding various teaching process. Before i start to teach, i have to prepare some documents such as teaching modules, teacher workbooks, teaching materials, learning modules, and student worksheets. I'm in charge in two class. I have the same routine, every morning i prepare my documents and then i teach in those classes. As a teacher assistant, i have which are: 1. Prepare and installing Revit software on student's devices. 2. Explain basic science about architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior, and exterior. 3. Explain how to modelling architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior, and exterior with BIM using Revit software. 4. Arrange some quiz to test the knowledge's students. 5. Evaluate final quiz as a report. To help student learning the process about modelling BIM using Revit, i made modules about learning BIM and Revit. The modules explain about tools and function on Revit. Moreover, there's quiz to evaluate the knowledge after learning about BIM and Revit. Below there are learning modules about BIM (Revit) which i create as a additional learning modules to DPIB SMKN 2 Depok.
