Happy to share our latest study Validation and user experience of a dry electrode based Health Patch for heart rate and respiration rate monitoring in Nature Scientific Reports. Here are three key takeaways: ✅ High Accuracy in Heart Rate Monitoring: The Health Patch demonstrated strong agreement with clinical-grade devices, achieving a 98% correlation for heart rate accuracy during both rest and activity. For respiratory rate the agreement was lower. We’ve still got some work to do 😊 ✅ User Comfort and Long-Term Wearability: Designed with self-adhesive dry electrodes, the Health Patch provides greater comfort over prolonged use. Participants reported minimal discomfort, positioning it as a promising solution for continuous, long-term monitoring without the skin irritation typical of gel electrodes. ✅ Potential for Digital Biomarker Development: With robust capabilities in tracking heart rate variability, respiration, and other vital signs, this multimodal technology could be important for developing novel digital biomarkers. Such tools enable early detection of disease and better management of chronic conditions remotely.
