Do you need to vaccinate outside the Flu season, ie November thru March? Yes, in fact it is recommended to stay UpToDate with other vaccines during the year, and it provides for better protection especially for higher risk demographics like residents in senior living facilities, for vaccines to protect against pneumonia, RSV, Shingles, and others. Having continuity throughout the year can have significant health benefits, and premium senior living facilities are now making an effort to provide that continuity during the year to protect their elderly residents. #preventivehealth, #vaccinessaveslives, #vaccinesduringtheyear Novir

Imagine a shield against preventable diseases—this is how Dr. Rajeeva Moger, Senior Consultant Physician at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, views adult vaccinations. He stresses their importance, noting that just as children need vaccines, adults do too. Key shots include the annual flu vaccine, the pneumococcal vaccine for those over 65 or with lung conditions, and the herpes zoster vaccine for those over 60 to prevent shingles. Dr. Moger's message is clear: staying up-to-date with vaccinations is crucial for maintaining health and preventing serious illnesses. #AdultVaccinations #PreventableDiseases #VaccinesWork #StayHealthy #FluShot #PneumococcalVaccine #HealthAwareness #PreventIllness #HealthMatters #StayProtected #Apollohospitals #Banglore

Everyone ages 6 months and older should get a 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine. It helps prevent severe symptoms, hospitalization and death. It is especially important for those older than 65, at risk for severe COVID-19 or have never received a COVID-19 vaccine. Protection from prior vaccinations decreases over time. Talk to your medical or pharmacy provider to learn more. #covid #vaccine #usa #health

Critical trends in vaccination coverage in the US, a notable decline in vaccination coverage by age 24 months for children born in 2020 and 2021. Persistent vaccination inequities among different demographic groups. These findings underscore the urgent need for targeted public health interventions to address these disparities and ensure all children receive timely vaccinations. #PublicHealth #Vaccination #HealthEquity #MMWR #ChildHealth
New MMWR shows coverage with nearly all routine childhood vaccinations by age 24 months was lower among children born during 2020–2021 (during or after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic) compared with those born in 2018–2019. Providers can help by offering strong vaccine recommendations to patients. https://bit.ly/mm7338a3

COVID-19 vaccines have prevented untold amounts of death and suffering, vaccination also helps protect against #longcovid In the UK the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), (which makes recommendations to the government) has further restricted access to #covid19 booster vaccinations, using spurious nonsensical costing calculations that do not include the costs of #longcovid or the benefits of child vaccination. Meanwhile, the UK Health Security Agency will write off £229m worth of vaccines. One antidote to this madness is provided by Pharmadoctor who offer a private #covid vaccination service at your local pharmacy. https://lnkd.in/ePu6ypEZ #vaccineswork #vaccines #publichealth #covid19 #riskmitigation #nhs #healthandwellbeing #pharmacy #pharmacist

Many vaccinations still contain Thimerosal. (The flu vaccine is one of these.) This substance causes damage in the brain and has been associated with autism. Do you think we should blindly trust the “powers that be” or would it be wiser to do our own homework? This post isn’t intended so much to tell you that you should or should not get vaccinations (or give them to your children) but rather a PLEA for you to know what you are getting and what the short and long term risks of various medical recommendations. https://ow.ly/xa1a50QlyvW #plantbaseddoctor #naturopathicmedicine #holistichealthcare #qrapractitioner #healthtips #naturopathicdoctor #rootcause #alternativewellness #quantumhealth #newhopehealth #optimalhealth #gethealthynow #radianthealth
