Delaying Occupational Therapy treatment for people living with disabilities may have these detrimental effects: 🔸Slower learning pace in those with developmental disabilities 🔸Decline in functional capacity 🔸Longer recovery time 🔸More expensive healthcare costs While there's little we can do about long waitlists, there's something you can do to keep your participant active while waiting for OT treatment.
