Our 2030 Sustainability Ambitions include several stretch targets to support the wellbeing of vulnerable communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific; aiming to positively impact the lives of 30 million people. Our commitments include improving the lives and wellbeing of vulnerable communities in this region, reducing our plastics footprint by half, and working towards a 50% reduction in our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. ❗ Frustration Rant ❗ ‼ Probably the most common response I receive when I do outreach is 'We are already doing actions for sustainability' or 'We have a sustainability team so we aren't looking for that' ‼ ⬆ Does this mean you can't do more? ↗ Does this mean as a company you can't do better? 🛩 Are you Carbon Neutral? 🌳 Even better, are you Carbon Negative? 🌍 Do you truly want to make a difference to this planet? 🥇 The real point is no matter how much you do, whether it's intensely recycling, having 0 food waste or even having a team of sustainability champions, we can ALWAYS do better. 🥇 🌍 As a country we have committed to Net Zero by 2050.
