<>Devotional<>Jesus lived, taught, and illustrated how each of us, yes absolutely everyone, can experience the same intimate fellowship with our Eternal Father. I address this further in my latest blog at https://lnkd.in/e4RE7KSJ. I welcome your thoughts.
One definition of fellowship is riding in the same boat with other fellows. I like this definition because it reinforces the important role community plays in fellowship. The people we’re surrounded by matter.
This does not mean only hang out with people who are like you and agree with you. Rather, it means surround yourself with people who share your values and will help you grow as a person of faith and character.
Who are the good people you're hanging out with? Let them know you value them. Acknowledging someone's importance is an excellent way to strengthen your relationship.
International Day of Human Fraternity 2024:
Love and compassion can win over hate. When we come together and unite against negativity, even the biggest of problems can be solved.
It is important for mankind to understand that instead of going against each other, we should come together to live in harmony and happiness.
That will help us to solve the issues together and ensure that all of us live equally and with respect.
One of the main reasons for so many conflicts in the world is because we do not treat each other with compassion and empathy anymore.
Wars, conflicts, killings and sufferings reign the world, and it is time to change it for the better.
Every year, International Day of Human Fraternity is observed to celebrate the importance of unity in diversity and the significance of people coming together to live in harmony.
As we gear up to celebrate the special day for this year, here are a few things that we must keep in mind.
Why connect?
Spending time in fellowship gives you the opportunity to get to know many people from all walks of life and the chance to "encourage one another and build each other up" (1 Thessalonians 5:11), thereby "[spurring] one another on toward love and good deeds" (5:24). So, instead of always being in a hurry or making an excuse to avoid an interaction or conversation, might you consider slowing down and take the time to "do what is good for each other and everyone else" (5:15). #Build & #GrowYourNetworkOfFriends#ANWadvocatingforhealthyliveshomesandworkenvironments

In January, I found myself in a situation that I could never have anticipated, yet it turned out to be one of the most fulfilling experiences of my recent journey.
I was at Andrews University, preparing to facilitate the recording of our Theological Seminary students, when an unexpected opportunity knocked on my door. Without any prior notice, I was asked to step in front of the camera and speak on a project that I hold close to my heart – a cause we are all passionately fundraising for.
With no script in hand and no time to prepare, I chose to say "Yes". Why? Because I had something far more powerful than a script. I had faith and a genuine belief in the cause we support. This became my strength in that spontaneous moment.
The video that emerged from this unforeseen request is a testament not just to my belief in the cause, but to the power of embracing the unexpected. It is a clear example of how, when we rely on our faith and the talents we are blessed with, we can achieve outcomes beyond our imagination.
I share this experience not to highlight my own actions, but to glorify God for endowing us with the ability to make a difference, especially when it's least expected. It's a reminder that the most impactful moments often come unannounced, challenging us to step out of our comfort zones and into the realm of endless possibilities.
As you watch the video, I encourage you to reflect on the unexpected opportunities that have come your way. Have you embraced them with open arms?
Let's charge ahead with a spirit of openness and faith. Say yes to the unexpected, and let's reap the rewards of surprising and fulfilling outcomes together. Because when we do, we not only fulfill our potential but also glorify the One who made it all possible.

If you'd ask me to name one thing that made me proud outside my "normal" business life in 2023... for sure it is my completion of the great Liberation Of Facilitation programme. Developed and facilitated by two of the most amazing and inspirational professionals I've ever met: Beatrijs Verploeg and Francoise Gielen - thank you so much for the exciting journey of mastery in facilitation and coaching, truely a once in a life time experience for me.
