Formula 1 Fans, let’s play a game of: Would You Rather Would you rather… 1️⃣ Pay $1,350 for the Vegas GP to see one corner of the race 🏎️ (and maybe catch a glimpse of the neon lights if you're lucky)? OR 2️⃣ Use that budget to attend three races in Europe 🏁, with enough left over for a few beers 🍻? The Las Vegas Grand Prix just announced a new “general admission +” ticket. The three-day ‘Heineken GA+’ ($1,350) gives spectators access to a single vantage point at one of the circuit’s 17 corners. The South Koval Zone ticket includes DJs, live entertainment, complimentary pub fare & soft drinks . Last year a lot of drivers pointed out that real fans that love the sport are being priced out. Do you think this Vegas ticket is worth it? Or would you rather stick to European races? Check out the details here if you want to see the costs for yourself:  https://lnkd.in/gBvSqRny #Formula1 #LasVegasGP #F1Fans

I chose two, without even reading what it would be about. I wouldn’t pay 100€ for a Vegas GP. From the absolutely horrifying experience people had. Paying full 3 days only to be asked out because of a problem the organisers had, no compensation, and having Danika Patrick say that people come to Vegas for Vegas and it was perfectly acceptable for them to miss FP2-FP3. And the race wasn’t even worth it, longest straight for no reason that DRS is rendered useless. It’s overpriced and we definitely don’t need three races in the US. The calendar is too heavy to the point that even Crofty is taking a stand and stepping down in 3 races. Personally, I think COTA is the only one worth keeping.

i had a rant about this on twitter earlier today! that ticket is STANDING room. in no universe should any organisation sell a general admission ticket for that much money. i paid $250AUD (~£130) for four days at the melbourne grand prix, which included access to the entire circuit and endless spots to sit and picnic. the fact that you can fly to australia for a holiday from america, go to the grand prix here, have a better experience, and likely SAVE money vs going to vegas is actual insanity. yes, organisations need to make money, but general admission is supposed to be accessible. and yes, these tickets will sell, but they’re cutting off their noses with this pricing, and i really hope they eventually have to rethink. you can’t keep excluding the core of your fanbase from your product and expect ongoing success, especially once the novelty wears away.

I couldn't agree more with some of the comments. We sell Las Vegas packages and the costs for the base package could be double the price of going to Abu Dhabi, never mind Europe. However in the last year we have seen Monaco creep up in price and is now very close to a 4 day trip to a middle eastern F1 event (sun, sea, sand and F1).

i'm taking Europe every day of the week Kim Hobson think a lot of the US gran Prix's are becoming basically just celebrity influencer exercises and not exactly the most affordable I do think in a few years time I would not be surprised if more of the grid is filled with more US based Gran Prix's and hey maybe a couple US drivers to join Logan

Skip F1 and come out and see cars fly at NITROCROSS. Under $100 for the whole weekend, tons of classes to watch, see the whole track and all the action, right in the center of Las Vegas. Last time I did a flip 😅

3 in Europe, hands down. Vegas is too much around a large event, seeing 3 European cities and experiencing that culture as well as the race is far more appealing!
