If a recruiter contacts a person who says they’re happy in their current role, a great recruiter’s response is going to be, “I’m glad to hear it!” Because the truth is, recruiting is not all about making a sale — it’s all about building relationships. Here are three ways having a relationship with a recruiter can benefit employees at every stage of their careers, including when they’re happily employed and have no intention of making a change: https://lnkd.in/erHEs5Cx Authored by Bill Wolfe, EVP #kimmel #careeradvice #executivesearch

Recruiting....I was recently asked what I like about being a recruiter? For me recruiting goes beyond simply matching candidates with positions or filling a role. It's about relationships. It's about forging authentic "connections," building and nurturing those relationships and above all, empowering individuals. It gets down to the basics of helping people, which doesn't mean filling my role but about listening and providing insight. And that's what I like about Recruiting........ #LifeWorkSearch #BuildingConnections #supplychainprofessionals #goodvibes

In the recruitment game, asking the right questions is everything. Today's savvy recruiters are moving beyond basic qualifications and experience to assess a candidate's future potential. A technique called Behavioral Interviewing focuses on uncovering a candidate's past actions and behaviors to predict how they might perform in similar situations within your company. By delving deeper with questions like: "Tell me about a time you faced a challenging deadline. How did you approach it?" "Describe a situation where you had to collaborate with a difficult colleague. What was your strategy?" Behavioral Interviewing allows recruiters to gain valuable insights into a candidate's problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and cultural fit. It also helps the interviewer assess how candidates will handle real-world scenarios relevant to the role and unveils soft skills such as communication and teamwork beyond the resume. Tired of sifting through resumes that miss the mark? When I think about the best recruiters I've met over the last few years at Systematic, there is one character trait common among them all: Authenticity. This career is about building relationships. It means caring enough to do right by your clients and candidates. I've been fortunate enough to watch some very talented recruiters develop business relationships from one-time, "we'll let you try one" partnerships to us becoming the company's Go-To recruiters to get the job done right. I used to think there was a secret to it, or that they were masters of influence. But it wasn't their recruiting expertise, or salesmanship, or discipline alone that achieved it. Turns out, its the same for any relationship - developing it is just about being a good person. #character #recruiting #relationships #business #hiring #manufacturing
