#WorkLife #LunchBreaks #EmployeeRights Hey everyone! 🌟 I’ve got a question that's been on my mind lately: If work says we can’t head to our cars during break times, can they really control our time on our unpaid lunch? 🤔 Here’s what I’m thinking: Paid Breaks = Company Rules: Sure, during paid breaks, they can set some ground rules. That makes sense, right? Unpaid Lunch = Our Time: But when it comes to unpaid lunch, shouldn’t we have more freedom to decide what we want to do? 🚗💼 Balance is Key: It feels like there should be a balance where employees can decompress without being restricted. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this! Are there any work policies you've come across that feel a bit too controlling? How do you deal with your breaks? Here are a few specific things you could share: Your workplace break policies Any tips for making the most of your unpaid lunch Experiences with setting boundaries at work Let’s open up this discussion! Top tips for sending Out of Office invites to your colleagues this holiday season: 1. DON'T block their calendars by setting the invite to show as "Out of Office." Trust me, I’m not trying to join you on your Amalfi Coast getaway. Not unless you sponsor the airfare. 2. DON'T set the invite to show as "Busy." While I'd love to look important by having a jam-packed calendar and saying, “Sorry, I’m double-booked,” my boss might not be thrilled if I start missing meetings because YOU are lounging in Amalfi. 3. DO put your name on the invite title. I got all excited seeing a blank “Holiday” reminder pop up, only to realise it’s not a company-wide day off. It’s just you, sipping limoncello in Amalfi. Talk about a letdown! 4. DO mark the invite for “All Day.” Marking it "All Day" lets us know you’re out without cluttering our calendars. Plus, it makes it easier for the rest of us to plan our secret pizza parties while you're gone. 🍕😉 (not like you care anyway) Safe travels and happy vacationing, folks! 🌴✈️ PS: I am not going anywhere, Amalfi or America from 25/07 to 02/08.

🎉 Team Bonding During the Holidays 🎉 I've always taken team bonding very seriously—especially during the holidays. Our Christmas party is a time to unwind, reflect, and strengthen the bonds that make our company culture unique. 🤝 Why is this so important for our team and business? Here’s what it means to us: 🔹 Boosts morale and motivation: The end of the year is a busy time, and celebrating our wins together helps us recharge for the challenges ahead. 🔹 Improves collaboration: Bonding outside of work strengthens teamwork and communication—key elements for delivering successful projects. 🔹 Fosters a positive culture: I believe in having fun while getting results. A strong team culture not only makes work more enjoyable but also leads to better outcomes for our clients. Celebrating as a team doesn’t just improve our work-life balance; it builds trust and collaboration. The holidays are the perfect time to reflect on the year’s growth and set the stage for continued success. How does your team bond and celebrate during the holidays? What’s your company’s favourite holiday tradition? Let’s share some ideas in the comments! I'll get back to you on Monday, as we are heading off to our Christmas party. 🎄 #TeamCulture #ChristmasParty #WorkLifeBalance #TeamBonding
