Exciting day yesterday as we organised our annual State of Dutch Tech in The Hague! 🇳🇱 How are our tech gems holding up? What's the next big thing? And what hurdles are we gearing up to leap over? Topics we dove into by bringing together over 400 of the brightest minds – policymakers, academia experts, founders, investors, and all the game-changers of tech. Our COO Anni Anttonen took the stage at TechBBQ yesterday, joining a panel discussion on how Nordic values and innovation can be leveraged to tackle global challenges. The conversation focused on how the Nordic community can champion diversity, foster sustainable innovations, and ensure technology advances equity and inclusivity. ✨ Anni emphasized, "The Nordic region is celebrated for its strong, shared values, innovative spirit, and collaborative mindset. But how can we, as a startup ecosystem, truly unite to address some of the world's most pressing challenges—geopolitical, environmental, and social?" 🚀 She highlighted the strength of the close-knit Nordic ecosystem, where we meet at events and conferences, getting inspired to collaborate, but she urged that we concretise this spirit of collaboration into everyday processes, asking, "How can we, as a unified Nordic ecosystem, support startups together, all year round?"
