When it comes to building business, we can either choose to listen to our customers or ignore them.
Who would choose to ignore their clients?
That’s a great question, and when put in this light the choice is simple.
Unfortunately, so many of us get caught up in our own stories that we unknowingly and unintentionally forget that the reason we’re in business to begin with is to create transformation in our customer’s lives.
We make our businesses all about us.
We get wrapped up in our own offerings.
We get lost in our own products.
We drink our own kool-aid.
Not intentionally, of course.
But the reality is we often times get so caught up in our own thoughts and feelings that we find ourselves ignoring our clients altogether.
When it comes to building business, the most important thing we can remember is to put in the time, effort, and energy necessary to truly listen to and hear what our clients are saying.
They are after all the reason we do what we do…
