After 45 years, 5 months and 27 days, Brenda Burrows is on to the next chapter in her life journey as she retires from a remarkable career with Kmart. Brenda celebrated career with Kmart began as a cashier in Delray, FL where she continued to advance. The pinnacle of her prominence was successfully managing several store locations in Florida, Alabama, and the Virgin Islands. For those of you who have had the honor of spending time and receiving guidance and support from Brenda, you know what a remarkable, compassionate and kindhearted individual she is. Brenda has always cared about the well-being of her customers, associates and colleagues and has been an invaluable member of the Kmart family for 45+ years. I am grateful for the time I’ve spent with Kmart… My last 13 years in the Caribbean ( St. Thomas was a different learning experience! Island life is truly not for everyone.. however it was for me.
