Excellent opinion piece. Religion has failed to keep pace with science and has more in common with history than reality and evolution. Scientific concepts like quantum entanglement can inspire new ways of thinking about interconnectedness, mystery and the nature of reality, which may enrich religious and spiritual perspectives. Recognising that science does not tell you what ought to be but rather tells us what is. It is time to examine how society puts a value perspective on science? Is it time for religion to close the gap with science?

Entering the Kingdom of Heaven is a process. A believer needs to show: 1)   He belongs to the Kingdom and Christ from time to time. 2)   He leads people, sinners to repentance and into the Kingdom of Heaven from time to time. It is meet and right for Donald Trump to declare his love and belonging to Jesus Christ from time to time in front of many. This is also an act to lead sinners to repentance and accepting Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. It is not a guess work whether Donald Trump is Christian enough. It is Gospel Work to keep confirming ones citizenship to the Kingdom and to lead people to Christ through words, declaration, and action.

How do we attain beatitude? We attain beatitude by virtue of the grace of Christ which makes us participants in the divine life. Christ in the Gospel points out to his followers the way that leads to eternal happiness: the beatitudes. The grace of Christ also is operative in every person who, following a correct conscience, seeks and loves the true and the good and avoids evil.      Further reading: CCC 1716

Hebrews 13:16 states, "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." In this verse, the author of Hebrews encourages believers to engage in acts of kindness and generosity towards others. The phrase "do good" encompasses various expressions of benevolence and righteousness, while "share with others" emphasizes the importance of sharing one's resources, time, and blessings with those in need. The mention of "sacrifices" suggests that acts of kindness and sharing are not just casual gestures but are viewed as offerings to God. By demonstrating compassion and generosity, believers please God and embody the principles of love and selflessness taught by Jesus Christ. Overall, Hebrews 13:16 highlights the significance of living out one's faith through practical acts of kindness and sharing, which not only benefit others but also honor God.

Psalm 121:1 beautifully reminds us that we will find peace and rest when we are humble enough to accept Christ's help with gratitude. We are reminded that God is the Creator of the universe, and we can trust Him to take care of us. SUNDAY THOUGHTS. I love enjoying chuch bell ringing. Do Saints have nationality? Greek Saints, Russian Saints etc.? I believe Saints are Saints, Paradise does not recognize nationalities. Do you remember Dostoevski's quote? If there is no God, everything is permitted. Saints keep human values as well. Reflection: 1 Corinthians 12:25-27: The Interconnected Body of Christ In 1 Corinthians 12:25-27 (NKJV), the Apostle Paul poignantly describes the intricate relationships within the body of Christ: "that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually." This passage echoes the biblical theme of unity and mutual dependence among believers. Just as each part of the human body serves a unique function, so do Christians within the body of Christ. This unity finds resonance in Ephesians 4:16, which speaks of the body being "joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." As a theology teacher reflects on 1 Corinthians 12:25-27, the emphasis is on fostering a deep sense of community, empathy, and shared responsibility within the diverse body of believers.
