While taking off with Viewst first sales, we've realized that selling the service is not the final stage of the sale cycle. Onboarding is! We built Viewst to deliver real value to creative teams in the first place. Revenue is just a measure of the scale. If you signed a new contract but nobody uses your solution it's the hardest failure for a team. It may mean that you have excellent sales reps, but your service sucks. We analyzed thousands of trial sessions to simplify the onboarding process. Many designers experimented with our default banner not to start from scratch. That inspired us to create the whole batch of default banners telling the story of how to use Viewst and what production challenges it addresses. Our brains are constantly evaluating: fight or flight, risk-reward, and if we're spending time on the right things. Low conversion rate? ➝ Perceived value ain't high enough. -- 7 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝘂𝗽 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 (𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴): 1. Make it easier (no-code!) 2. Make it guided (onboarding w/ an expert) 3. Make it faster (ie same-day ship, instant analysis) 4. Show the $-value of contents (a $1K value, included!) 5. Share benefits specific to their industry (niche) 6. Position benefits in terms of results (Earn $1K more/customer) 7. Offer payment plans Strong offers are the catalyst of an effective funnel.

This January marks Clear Ads turning 13 years old (a teenager) and this January we have seen the companies best month in regards to revenue. How do you keep growing after so long in business? Here's just a few of my takeaways. - Always learning & applying what you have learned - Reading as much as possible and applying the practices other people have implemented in business & personal life is what I try and do often. - Having the right people in the right seat - Got this from good to great. When you bring in the right person to the company and allow them to do what they enjoy best.... Sit back and enjoy the ride. - Put ego aside and hire smarter - I openly tell everyone in my team that they are so much smarter than I am and that's the way it should be. The best ideas come from my team and I'll always give them the credit. - Never settle - we have had our best month ever in January but that does not mean we can be complacent. The next opportunity can be presented any day and we always want to cease. - Question everything - As well as adding to what I and the team do, what can we take away is a big question we ask? What process or way we do something is now redundant and requires us to remove or reshape.

I made a commitment to myself back in January. I was just starting my rebrand and my to-do list was long. Yet, like many clients who come to me, I, too, wanted it done *yesterday.* 🤦♀️ So I promised myself I would NOT rush it. Not force it. Not overwork to grind it out. I would let it be easy. Fun. Enjoyable. I would get it right – and trust that “right is better than rushed,” which is what I always tell clients.    Did it take longer than my ego wanted? Yes. Was it always easy to let it be easy? Absolutely not. But since the rebrand took 5 months, I had plenty of time to practice. 😂 I gotta say, it was great. When launch day arrived, I felt peaceful – not anxious the message might not land. Confident – not concerned I’d missed something important. I LOVED my new site and was proud to share it – because I knew I’d gotten it right. In fact, I’d given myself SO much time for the final QC and announcement revisions that I took a beach day with friends on Monday before the launch. 🌊 I don’t know about you, but this is how I want to do everything, if given the chance. Last night I noticed myself rushing to make dinner so I could relax. Rushing to relax. 🏃♀️ So I stopped everything, went outside, and sat on the deck. I watched Rosie keep tabs on the rabbits in the yard, smell what the neighbors were grilling. 🐶 The heat had mellowed. I relaxed. I honed so many skills during this rebrand, but this was my favorite. Do it right, and enjoy it. The results are worth it — and the process is just as juicy. 🍒 I want to keep practicing this skill my whole life. 🤍 #brandmessage #brandvoice #copywriter #marketingconsultant
