In collaboration with J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. and Bridgestone Americas, we’re setting new benchmarks in long-haul trucking. Our hub-to-hub autonomous delivery model isn’t just a vision—it’s a reality. Since January, the Kodiak Driver has successfully covered over 50,000 miles, maintaining a 100% on-time pick-up and delivery record. Together, we’re reducing empty miles, maximizing efficiency, and driving the future of logistics forward.
This is amazing! 👏🏾 Also, I can see that not many people have done enough research on Kodiak. The aim is not to replace drivers altogether, but instead to allow there to be basically a guardian angel on board that can take over in an unsafe situations or for a disabled driver. I love the technology, and as a safety/orientation instructor and driver for the past decade, I believe there's definitely a necessary space for this technology.
We’ve enjoyed the collaboration and learnings.

2moI don’t know how on earth this will ever work, there is so much human interaction that is needed daily, who’s going to do the inspections, tire failure, bad weather. The first mass accident caused and this concept is going to go out the window. What happened with the Tesla craze, people realize the batteries explode or don’t charge in cold weather and stopped buying the product. Look at these EV trucks that are wrecking and the roads are closed for 2 days cause fire department is worried they will explode (twice in two weeks in California). Let’s stop reinventing the wheel and focus on why there’s a driver shortage. The radars on the trucks that drivers currently drive slam the brakes on when they go under bridges or reflect off road signs. First time a radar fails and causes a mass pile up, this will be back on the drawing board. The one I’m looking forward to is when someone pulls the fifth wheel and the driverless truck drives off and the trailer falls off. (That’s a real world problem). This idea is great for a weekend joy ride, it’s not logical to maintain a massive supply chain network. Better pay, instead of spending millions on some driverless solution, when you still need a driver… Thank You - A Truck Driver ❤️
