Today the nations remembers and honors National POW/MIA Day. The Defense Department (DoD) remembers and honors those Americans who were Prisoners of War, those who served and never returned home. The DoD’s POW/MIA Accounting Agency continues the search for the missing, fulfilling the nation’s promise to leave no service member behind. History In the United States, National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday in September. It honors those who were prisoners of war (POWs) and those who are still missing in action (MIA). It is most associated with those who were POWs during the Vietnam War. National Vietnam War Veterans Day is March 29, the date in 1973 when the last US combat troops departed the Republic of Vietnam. The POW/MIA Flag should fly below, and not be larger than, the United States flag. It is generally flown immediately below or adjacent to the United States flag as second in order of precedence

Anti-coup forces advance in #Myanmar: Operation 1027 originated in the north of Shan state, where the Brotherhood Alliance launched a military campaign with the aim of restoring the border town of Laukkaing to Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party/Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNTJP/MNDAA) rule. Laukkaing was eventually recaptured by the MNTJP/MNDAA on 5 January. Early successes by the Brotherhood Alliance in northern Shan have also served as a springboard for the expansion of Operation 1027 ambitions and resistance offensives in other parts of the country. Private armies, also known as private military have become a reality in many parts of the world today. It was the thematic ground when I conceive the idea of orange army. Imagine a world where conflicts are resolved not by countries' armies but by private military contractors. While their effectiveness is sometimes acknowledged, the necessity for stringent regulation and oversight is paramount to prevent potential abuses. If soldiers can't live peacefully with civilians, they should please confine themselves to the barracks. We are tired of managing your need to "show" yourselves, by coming into our space, and disrespecting us. As for another Military investigation, we do not want to know. That soldiers attack civilians at will because they need to show themselves is a military problem that should be solved amongst yourselves. Please don't bring it into the civilian space. If excess energy dey, chase down kidnappers and bandits, and leave us alone. Build yourselves nightclubs and Supermarts, salons etc al in your barracks.
