As we celebrate Disability Employment Awareness Month (#DEAM), we understand the dimensions of strategic hiring and equitable solutions and work with business to ensure accessibility is built into all aspects of the employee life cycle.  According to Statistics Canada, the unemployment rate for persons aged 16 to 64 with disabilities was 6.9% in 2022, nearly double the rate for persons without disabilities in the same age group (3.8%). This gap highlights the need for more inclusive practices.
