Post-Acute Care Expertise • Project Management • Practice Management • Finance, Operations and Business Restructuring
𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑹𝑷𝑴), 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒄. Two programs operating simultaneously with many lessons learned. Both use remote monitoring devices. The most important lesson learned - the daily need for compliance oversight. Without such oversight, RPM will fail. A practice must make an investment to hire a Registered Nurse to monitor and track the well-being of a program. A proactive nurse will deliver results. No nurse will lead RPM to the graveyard. Drilling down, I see four areas where RN expertise is of enormous value. This comes from personal experience - views are mine and are derived from actual, “boots on the ground” experience. 1 - 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑻𝑬𝑪𝑯𝑵𝑰𝑪𝑨𝑳 I encourage pilot programs as most do not know what is involved with these monitoring devices that could require repair, return or replacement. Think of the logistical nightmare for anyone, let alone someone in there 70s or 80s. This consumes 10%-15% of time. 2 - 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑳 We then come across the mental state of mind. How about the response “I forgot.” Or “I know what my outcome will be, I do not need to monitor my results.” Or “this is a complete waste of time.” A nurse constantly battles these shifting attitudes. 3 - 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑪𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑰𝑪𝑨𝑳 The value that a nurse can deliver in real time educating the patient on their chronic diseases is priceless. No nurse, no education, minimal value. 4 - 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑭𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑰𝑨𝑳 A nurse allows for a scaling of RPM. Lack of a nurse in an oversight or leadership position limits the size of a program. Today, our practice operates two programs concurrently. One has a nurse running compliance, the other runs itself. One pilot has 100 enrollees, the other has 4. One has a nurse running compliance, the other does not. Can you identify which has which? #rpm #ccm #nurse #tech #health

I help hospital doctors and senior healthcare professionals develop as leaders and achieve success whilst maintaining wellbeing in a rewarding yet relentless healthcare system.
Starting a new job as a Consultant? It can be exciting and daunting moving into a new post. Here are some things you can do in your first few weeks. 1. Attend the inductions and familiarise yourself with the hospital layout – and yes, that means doing all the mandatory training 😣 (it's worthwhile asking what training you can transfer from your last role). 2. Ensure access to necessary IT systems 3. Arrange introductions with nursing staff, junior doctors, managers and allied health professionals who you will be working closely with. 4. Get a handle on any departmental guidelines and emergency procedures relevant to your work. 5. Shadow a colleague to understand local practices and patient flow. 6. Join your first team meeting, listen and learn about ongoing projects and challenges. Remember, it's about laying foundations. Ask questions, be approachable, and take it one day at a time. You’ve got this 💪 #ExecutiveCoaching #Healthcare #PersonalDevelopment

Helping senior nurses and allied health professionals, manage the challenges of working relationships, so they can reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace.
As senior nurses and AHP, it’s so important we work on our professional relationship challenges in the workplace. In providing safe effective patient care, being able to voice your concerns and ideas, and work effectively together. Unfortunately this is not always the case. After all that training, and the wealth of knowledge you’ve gained over the years, you’re likely in this job for the long haul, but what’s missing? Can you identify it? Or is it just one of those things you put up with? What if things were different? 💭 Imagine having successful interactions with your team, your colleagues, with senior clinicians and those you interact with in corporate roles 💭 Imagine feeling confident in your delivery of information, tailored specifically to your audience which is well received 💭 Imagine feeling respected and valued for what you bring to the table 💭 Imagine being able to share your new wisdom with your colleagues 💭 Imagine coming home from work knowing you did a good job and it was enough This can be your reality when you work with me. 🤝 Day 10 – Power of Collaboration: Together We Achieve More On Day 10, we’re celebrating the power of collaboration. At UHC Staffing, we know that success in healthcare is built on teamwork—whether it's healthcare professionals working together in high-pressure environments or our staffing experts finding the perfect fit for each role. Today, we’re shining a light on the strength of teams. We believe that when individuals come together with a shared goal, they create something bigger than themselves. From placing nurses in fast-paced ERs to finding top talent for critical care units, it’s the ability to collaborate and communicate that makes it all possible. Take Jonathan, for example, a nurse we recently placed in a leading hospital’s trauma unit. He quickly became a vital part of the team, bringing not only his skills but also his collaborative spirit, which improved the team’s dynamic and, ultimately, patient outcomes. 🏥✨ Day 10 is about recognizing that we’re stronger together. It’s about building relationships, supporting each other, and creating lasting impacts across the healthcare industry. Looking to join a team where you can thrive? Team work is an essential component of academic and professional environments, as it allows individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives to collaborate and achieve common goals. effective team work requires a delicate balance of communication, coordination, and conflict resolution. Today, we assembled various resources for a mission. Leveraging our diverse expertise, we fulfilled a seemingly impossible and crucial request for a patient. This exemplifies the beauty of personalized medical service. We navigated challenges, deliberated rigorously, and weighed the risks and benefits… glad that we made it finally. The smile and gratefulness from the patient and family is unforgettable. This experience was tremendously inspirational for me. I learned a great deal from many leading experts in the field. I am truly thrilled to have led and witnessed such a beautiful mission, assisted by a group of compassionate professionals. * A senior general manager with extenssive icu nursing background who humble herself to contribute directly in the mission. * Excellent medical assistant officers who are so capable to execute almost everything i asked during the mission without hassle. * The whole team stand by me during the mission, follow me and never fail to receive my instruction no matter where i go ( where patient goes) * Patient and his caring families who trust us and care for us [Excuse me that i cant enclose any more detail related to this experience] I talk alot about hope, helping and teamwork. My whole message is that >> we are more powerful TOGETHER. #extramiles #simplynote
