Purpose:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth in the powered access equipment rental space. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.
Identify new market opportunities and trends to enhance business growth.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and requirements to offer tailored rental solutions.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance performance and achieve sales goals. Organize regular training sessions to improve team skills and product knowledge.
Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance against targets, analyzing data to identify areas of improvement. Provide regular sales reports to senior management.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Adjust sales strategies based on market analysis to remain competitive.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and campaigns. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
Budget Management: Responsible for developing and managing the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the equipment rental or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills with a data-driven approach to sales management.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales performance metrics.
