To achieve that all our fun activities were designed specifically in consideration to the team building, trust, communication, coordination, collaboration and cognitive skills. Such activities were: - Straw Relay- If you want to excel you must know to coordinate with the teams. This activity encourages teamwork and cooperation as team members must work together to complete the relay. - Street Bites- In this activity the team has to rely on body language, gestures, and facial expressions to convey their clues, thereby improving non-verbal communication skills, Team Collaboration, creativity and imagination. - Balloon Blind Bash- This activity fosters trust and mutual reliance among team members, emphasizing the importance of trust in teamwork. To complete the relay successfully, requires coordination and collaboration among team members. Team had worked together efficiently to achieve the relay's objective, promoting teamwork and synergy. - Footprint Maze- Has been a highly effective learning tool, particularly for team building, leadership development, and fostering a culture of collaboration. - Movers vs. Freezers- helped to improve Cognitive Skills like Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking. "Ultimately, It was a fantastic evening! It was more than just a break from work—it was a chance to connect, laugh, and strengthen our team bonds. Activities like these remind us that fostering a positive work culture is key to success. Looking forward to more moments of conviviality and collaboration ahead!"

During our recent town hall, I emphasized a key message: there is no "they" in our organization. We are one team with a shared goal and vision. We are one Leaf Home. By working together, we achieve more. We support each other, ensuring collective success. Every role, regardless of location and title plays an important part. We all carry the torch. Each individual has the responsibility to communicate, collaborate, and contribute to our goals. The choice is ours. We can choose to create an environment of "we" that is united, collaborative, and empowered. Or, we can let the "they" mentality divide us. The choice is clear. Let's commit to working as one team, where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to contribute. This is how we win.

Reading the book Nine lies about work by Buckingham and Goodall and got stuck on a claim they make that ”the idea of a company culture as a broad, unchanging compani-ness that defines experience of work is falce.” Buckingham and Goodall say that their research concludes that local experiences of teams and colleques is far more important, and that those experiences vary more team-to-team than company-to-company. And I can totally relate to this but what does it mean company wise? ⭐️Maybe spending more time to the quality of team management culture than company culture, or writing down team culture strategies together between teams rather than just one for all, or concentrading on people skills for everyone. After are, we are all people, and having positive encounters with others makes us not only happier but also more creative and more effective. As Buckingham and Goodall write: “While people might care which company they join, they don’t care which company they work for.” Do you agree? Btw do you spot my wonderful bookmark I have? 😀
