    "Success is not a destination, but the road that you're on. Being successful means that you're working hard and walking your walk every day. You can only live your dream by working hard towards it. That's living your dream." — Marlon Wayans. At .Kreate we successfully conducted "𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿" this month again. These sessions are more than just fun, they are strategically designed to enhance employee engagement, boosting  morale and developing  key skills that drive the  organisation forward. Through a series of carefully selected games, we empowered our teams to strengthen interpersonal connections, enhance communication and foster collaboration. We conducted following games like this: 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘇 𝗛𝗶 𝗣𝗲𝗵𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗶: This game elevates employee engagement by encouraging active participation and teamwork, while promoting keen listening skills. These are foundational to better collaboration across departments.  𝗥𝘂𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀: With its high-energy dynamics, this  game brings employees together, nurturing collaboration and mutual support, all of which are essential to building trust  and great bond  within teams. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁: This game significantly improves workplace essentials like communication, active listening, and problem-solving. These skills are directly tied to operational efficiency and decision-making in fast-paced environments. 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗢𝘂𝘁: By promoting teamwork, creativity and friendly competition, this game strategically contributes to building a collaborative and energized work environment. The friendly competition among employees encourages to think out of   box and work together to achieve shared goals, which directly contributes to a more innovative and agile organizational culture.     We recently organized an insightful session focused on raising awareness about the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗛) at the workplace for our team members. The session's key objectives were to: • Foster a work culture free from discrimination and harassment. • Ensure compliance with Indian law on POSH. • Implement a robust system for preventing and addressing grievances related to sexual harassment. • Uphold women's right to protection against harassment. • Establish a permanent mechanism to address such issues. • Drive the seamless execution of the policy across the organization. The significance of this session was to ensure a 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, where employees can collaborate without the fear of harassment. It was an expert-level session where we delved into 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 (𝗜𝗖𝗖) formation, formal procedures for implementation, and clear timelines, ensuring everyone understands the process and their 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.     At Kreate, our monthly "Happy Hour" is more than just a social gathering – it’s a strategic initiative aimed at driving employee engagement, fostering collaboration and reinforcing a positive organizational culture. These events are carefully designed to align with our broader HR and organizational goals, enhancing essential skills such as communication, problem-solving and teamwork in a dynamic and enjoyable environment. This month's Happy Hour featured four interactive games, each contributing to our core objectives: 𝟭. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 : 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Enhance communication, creativity, and collaboration. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: Participants work in pairs where one describes a simple object (e.g., a doodle) and the other draws it based solely on the verbal instructions. This game sharpens listening skills, clarity in communication, and teamwork, crucial for enhancing cross-functional collaboration. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗶𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: It Promote team bonding and stress relief while encouraging quick decision-making. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: In a high-energy task, participants stick as many Post-it notes as possible on a teammate in one minute. This light-hearted activity fosters a fun, collaborative environment while subtly reinforcing time management, quick thinking, and stress management. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘇: 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Improve communication, confidence, and quick decision-making. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: Participants act out work-related words while their team guesses as many as possible within one minute. This game enhances quick thinking, non-verbal communication, and helps build confidence, all of which contribute to stronger workplace interactions and effective teamwork. 𝟰. 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵:  𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Develops focus, resilience, and problem-solving skills. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: Participants aim to bounce ping pong balls into a cup placed at a distance, with the most successful catches in one minute winning. This activity helps employees enhance concentration, coordination, and resilience, translating to improved focus and productivity in the workplace.     𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 We recently conducted an impactful session on "Maximising Organisational Efficiency through Effective Time Management Frameworks" for our team. The session covered a range of critical topics, including: • Identifying and reducing 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 • Shifting mindsets with '𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗺?' • The 𝟯 𝗣’𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 • Leveraging effective 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 for managing time • Using the 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 for prioritising tasks The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, offering deeper insights into practical applications. Key learning outcomes from the session include: • Understanding the importance of 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 • Recognising the causes of 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and applying relevant techniques to overcome them • Identifying individual 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 and adopting strategies to minimise them • 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 to create more planning time • Implementing strategies to deal with 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and time-stealing activities • Utilising practical techniques to better 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nirupama Srivastava for her invaluable expertise and contribution to this enlightening session.
