Inspiration for the week: Corporate support has played a crucial role in the progress of LGBTQ+ rights over the past two decades. While some have begun to incorporate Pride Month in their companies, many do not, and some members of the LGBTQ+ community still struggle with feeling accepted in their place of work. Leaders must do more than make a post supporting it on social media. We must address the underlying issues, such as fear and bullying, lack of social acceptance, and a need for visible allyship and DEI&B policies. People spend the majority of their time working. Equality matters not only in our personal lives, but also professionally. Leaders align or alienate by stances taken or ignored. Be a source of light, and a vessel for change by making a concerted effort to create safe work spaces for all. #PrideMonth 🌈
