SAP community! Thought provoking facts are that 86% of SAP on prem systems have never been upgraded. 76% on prem customers will be out of maintenance in 2025. That’s 6 months away! Only 12% of customers are on the latest S/4 version. Now why is that interesting? Because new functionality and security features come in upgrades. On prem user normally don’t have these upgrades and new security features. On prem upgrades on average every 7 years. In cloud every 6 months (!) On prem ERP systems will not be sold in 2-4 years.
