More agility and efficiency in production: Schaeffler and Siemens intensify collaboration in the field of #ArtificialIntelligence. 🙌   Today, our CEO Klaus Rosenfeld and Cedrik Neike, Member of the Managing Board of Siemens and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The goal: Together with Siemens, we want to develop digital solutions for the shop floor and AI applications in the industrial sector in a collaborative effort and take production to a new digital level.   Both companies are showcasing their successful collaboration this week at HANNOVER MESSE trade fair in Germany with the "Siemens Industrial Copilot": This industrial automation solution using #AI significantly increases efficiency for employees on the shop floor. 💡 I am happy that I had the opportunity to participate in #DSC Adria 2024 and get a little glimpse into the AI and data-driven society. ☀️ The day started with an interesting presentation titled “Data as the new commodity: AI. sustainability and financial innovation,” held by Luis Seco, a Professor in the Master of Mathematical Finance department at the University of Toronto and the Director of RiskLab. Professor Seco showed us how they use data to improve sustainability. 🧭 Sray Agarwal, Head of Responsible AI at Fractal Analytics, delivered a lecture about responsible AI and the RAI revolution titled “Upholding Ethical Standards in the Emergence of AI: Ensuring Responsible Principles for a Better Future.” ✨️ The highlight of the program was the #keynote talk by David Vorih, the CIO at Siemens Financial Services & Member of the Siemens Group IT Board. His presentation “Transforming the everyday analytics” showcased Siemens’ journey from industrial revolutions to today’s success in mastering the combination of the real and the digital world. He spotlighted Siemens’ tech marathon involving 3,000 developers and 45TB of data across 750 projects, highlighting also the Siemens Data & AI Ecosystem and digitalization success use cases. All combined with valuable insights into Siemens' investment in digital competencies, the power of a growth mindset, and the opportunities of AI for Siemens´ talents. It’s impressive to see how #Siemens is driving innovation and contributing to the advancement of technology! 🙌 🚀 The conference was filled with many more in-depth tech topics.
